Update: Spreadsheet.com Inc., including our technology and domains, has been acquired by Veeva Systems.
Dear Spreadsheet.com customers and users,
We are sorry to share that we have made the difficult decision to shut down the Spreadsheet.com service, effective May 31, 2024.
In 2017 we set out to reinvent the spreadsheet as a modern collaborative work management system. By some measures we achieved our goal: we built a broad and deep product that hewed closely to the traditional spreadsheet paradigm while bringing native project management and no-code app building capabilities to it. In the process we solved some difficult technical challenges and built a scalable, high performance platform capable of serving a large number of users.
However, despite winning the business of over 1,000 organizations, we were unfortunately unable to achieve venture-scale growth.
We're proud of the innovative solutions we have seen so many of you create with Spreadsheet.com, and we're grateful for the trust you placed in us with your data and business processes.
You will be able to use your Spreadsheet.com workbooks as usual until May 31, 2024, when the service will be discontinued. After this date, you will no longer be able to use Spreadsheet.com or any of the workbooks you created in it, and your data will be deleted from Spreadsheet.com.
You can download data stored in Spreadsheet.com that you wish to retain by using the Download option under the workbook menu in the Spreadsheet.com service. We have also created a utility to download all attachments in a worksheet, which you can learn more about here.
Paid workspaces on a monthly plan will no longer be billed after April 30, 2024. Paid workspaces on an annual plan will be automatically moved to a monthly plan by February 16, 2024, and will no longer be billed after April 30, 2024.
If you have any questions about billing or the shutdown process, please contact us at support@spreadsheet.com.
Thank you,
Matt Robinson
